You may have missed

Not much to say here. Plot was familiar the characters were mostly forgettable the acting was marginal- though rhys's performance was mostly believable. Malkovich played the same antagonist he always plays and overacted in a horrible way. You can't be cold, cool and calculating while at the same time be an idiot. What's more his portrayal of a man with a god complex and fanatical world view was the worst part of the movie. I usually love malkovich's measured delivery with calculating characters but this character was doomed by a terrible script with ridiculous dialog. Beyond this, the flashback scenes do nothing to endear us to any character and really just get in the way.
